As the Regional Lead Engineer, you are responsible for

  • Leading the regional deliveries involving front to back integration of the cutting-edge Digital Financial Services 4.0 suite
  • Act as a “trusted advisor” to the Head of Regional delivery
  • Mentor and grow an offshore dev team
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise
  • Always learning and enjoys new challenges

and accountable for

  • Quality of the development team deliverables
  • Effectiveness and growth of our development teams
  • Customer satisfaction with architecture, design and development deliverables
  • Promoting collaboration between Asia and the other global development centers

In this role, you report to the regional Head of Delivery, Asia.


Technical Skills

  • Strong dotnet skills (v 4.0 up)
  • Understands Micro Services
  • Awareness of React.JS and cloud computing
  • Experienced working with large scale scrum teams spread across regions
  • Exposure to latest DevOps methodologies would be very desirable

Business Skills

  • Functional understanding of the wealth management domain, its products, processes and business practices
  • Ideally, first-hand knowledge of technology-based investment or robo-advisory platforms

Personality and Communication

  • You work closely with product managers, business analysts and UX/UI designers, offshore development teams and the Zurich R&D team
  • Travel within Asia Pacific will be required (20-40%)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Stack (#C /.Net) and SQL
  • Team Lead and/or mentoring experience building high-performance dev teams
  • Fluency in English
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred but not a must
